My studio looks out to a sweeping view of the sea in Eastern Oahu. In the distance I can sometimes see the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Early mornings, the neighbor islands are often hidden by sudden squalls that move quickly across the horizon. In this painting, my goal was to try to capture misty rain as it swept across the horizon.
